The customer acknowledges and accepts the general sales condition contained herein. For sales performed via the site www.stamp-and-scrap.com, the customer acknowledges and accepts the general sales conditions by validating their order.
The customer acknowledges that they are perfectly aware that their agreement to the general sales conditions herein does not require a written signature of this document.
Sales are exclusively reserved for adults, for their own personal use, with a physical residential address.
Stamp-and-Scrap.com SARL reserves the right to modify these general sales conditions. The conditions applicable are those in vigour on the internet site www.stamp-and-scrap.com at the moment the customer confirms an order.
Article 1 : Products
Each article proposed on the site www.stamp-and-scrap.com is described and depicted by an image. The images and texts illustrating products are not contractual. Slight differences between the colour of images on the site www.stamp-and-scrap.com and the actual product may exist due to digital manipulation of the results. The responsibility of Stamp-and-Scrap.com SARL is only engaged in the event of a blatant error in the illustration or description of a products.
Article 2 : Product availibilty
Products are offered for sale within the limit of available stock.
Stamp-and-Scrap.com takes the greatest care to ensure that the articles for sale on its site are in stock. In the event an article ordered is not available, the customer is informed by email and a new delivery time will be proposed. The customer thereby has the choice to accept the new delivery time or request the reimbursement of the unavailable article. A credit note will be sent to the customer along with a personal code which they can use to credit their account.
Article 3 : Price
Prices are indicated in euros.
Prices are inclusive of VAT and exclude delivery costs which are indicated during order confirmation and which remain at the customer’s expense (free delivery may be offered depending upon the purchase total). Prices are only valid at the date the customer confirms their order. Any change in the applicable VAT rate will automatically by applied to the product prices on the site www.stamp-and-scrap.com.
In the event of an order from a country outside of metropolitain France, the customer becomes importer of the products concerned. For deliveries outside of the European Union, the invoice is calculated VAT-free. Customs duties, import taxes or other dues may be required of the customer when importing the products into their country. These sums remain at the expense of the customer and in no case are they the responsibilty of Stamp-and-Scrap.com.
The products remain the property of Stamp-and-Scrap.com SARL until complete payment.
Stamp-and-Scrap.com SARL reserves the right to freely alter its prices.
Article 4 : Orders
Following confirmation of an order, Stamp-and-Scrap.com sends information to the customer concerning the order status :
- pending : your order is received and awaiting payment confirmation
- processing : payment has been received and your package is being prepared
- shipped : your package has been shipped. Depending upon your shipment method, you will receive an online tracking number
Article 5 : Invoicing
Once an order has been confirmed by the customer, the invoice is available on the site www.stamp-and-scrap.com in their member account. An email copy is also sent to the customer's email account. The amount to be paid is indicated in total, including VAT, in euros or British pounds depending upon the currency selected by the customer. A copy of your invoice is sent with your package shipment.
Article 6 : Payment
The customer has multiple payment possibilities, in Euros or British pounds depending upon the payment method.
In all cases, the customer confirms to Stamp-and-scrap.com SARL that they have the necessary authorisations to use the payment method they have selected. The company Stamp-and-Scrap.com SARL reserves the right to suspend any order or delivery in the event of payment refusal by the officially accredited organisations or in the event of non.payment.
Stamp-and-Scrap.com SARL reserves the right to verify orders in order to assure that no-one uses the banking details of another individual without permission, to take necessary mesures to ensure that the bank account debited corresponds to the person having placed the order, and avoid any fraudulent use of credit cards in particular.
1. Payment by cheque.
Only cheques drawn on a French bank account, in Euros, are accepted. Cheques should be sent to :

to the order of " Stamp-and-Scrap.com SARL".
The order will only be processed and shipped following reception and validation of the cheque. As a consequence, the delivery times applicable are from the day of validation of the cheque.
2. Payment by bank transfer.
The customer is informed of the IBAN, BIC and SWIFT codes at the moment they make their order. The customer should thereafter perform a bank transfer using the precise IBAN, BIC and SWIFT numbers, with a mention containing their order number for reference.
3. Payment by credit card.
Payment by credit card is performed within the secure link of our banking partner Crédit Mutuel. Carte Bleue, VISA, and Eurocard Mastercard are all accepted.
4. Payment by money order.
The customer sends the money order and their order number to Stamp-and-Scrap.com at the following address :

The order will be processed and shipped following reception and validation of the money order. As a consequence, the delivery times applicable are from the day of validation of the money order.
Article 7 : Shipment
Products ordered are shipped to the delivery address indicated during ordering. The customer has the choice to select a delivery address other than the billing address when making the order.
We ship all orders by registered post using the Colissimo service. When your order is shipped, you'll receive an email with a tracking number and link which allows you to follow the progression of your shipment. You can also see the status of your order in your account information under order history.
US and Canadian customers may opt for flat rate shipping when ordering certain stamp lines. This low-cost shipping method does not include online tracking nor insurance. The system will only propose this shipping option when all items in your basket correspond to acceptable products for this method. When opting for flat-rate shipping, you agree not to hold Stamp-and-Scrap.com responsible for items lost or damaged during transport.
We try our utmost to ship all orders within 24 hours of order payment, excluding weekends and public holidays.
Delivery times depend upon the country of destination and are only indicative. Stamp-and-Scrap.com declines any and all responsibility for increased delivery times under the responsibility of the transporter.
The customer agrees to verify the condition of the shipment at arrival and to indicate to the transporter, in writing within 48 hours, any damage in order to enable Stamp-and-Scrap.com to pursue a claim against the Post Office.

Article 9 : Defects
The customer has 7 working days, from the delivery date, to contest any damaged products or inexact products with respect to their order. After this delay the products are reputed conform and accepted by the customer.
Article 10 : Returns
In accordance with article L121-20 of French consumer law, the customer has the right to return their goods during a period of 7 working days following delivery. The customer must return the goods in their original packaging and in perfect condition, by registered post and at their expense.
Article 11 : Responsibility
All products for sale conform to French legislation at the time of ordering.
Stamp-and-Scrap.com SARL will not be held responsible for the non-execution of a concluded contract in the event of rupture of stock, of force majeure, of industrial dispute, of flooding, of fire or IT systems failure. In particular, Stamp-and-Scrap.com declines any responsibility for damages caused, either directly or indirectly, by the use of its products.
Article 12 : Personal data protection
Information supplied by a customer to Stamp-and-Scrap.com is confidential and is only used for the processing of orders and for communication from Stamp-and-Scrap.com towards the customer. No personal information is given to third parties.

In the event of litigation, the customer agrees to seek an amicable solution with Stamp-and-Scrap.com SARL. Otherwise, the courts of Bourg-en-Bresse, France, are solely competent.
